On Monday, March 19 at 10:00am, the USAID-funded Systems for Improved Access to Pharmaceuticals and Services (SIAPS) Program is hosting a webinar and panel discussion to highlight the critical role pharmaceutical products and other health technologies, including diagnostics, will play in meeting universal health coverage (UHC) objectives and ensuring the sustainability of a health system.
The event will explore the practical steps needed to tailor pharmaceutical management efforts to meet UHC objectives, including expanded coverage of essential health services and financial risk protection. Two case studies from Bangladesh and the Dominican Republic will be shared to contextualize key recommendations.
