Neuro-Infectious Diseases Research Fellowship at Yale & UCSF

Neurology fellowship is offered by the Memory and Aging Center at UC San Francisco and Neurology Department at Yale University (position can be filled at either location). The NIH-funded work gives the fellow opportunities to conduct research in acute HIV infection & HIV eradication. The fellow will provide at least 12 months of medical expertise at research sites in Thailand, including medical examinations & lumbar punctures, while developing a personal research portfolio. The position is for 1 year, with opportunities to extend.

The fellow will by mentored by senior researchers with extensive experience as career and research mentors and will provide guidance and assistance in data analysis and preparation of presentations and manuscripts, as well as in independent fellowship and grant applications.
