New! Interactive HIV Testing & Treatment Country Policy Database

By Lauren Alexanderson | 09 Feb, 2016

The AIDSFree Guidance Database brings together national HIV testing and treatment guidance from many priority countries around the world. Use this interactive database to prepare guideline revisions for a specific country, conduct research and product development, prepare training materials for health care personnel, write proposals and grants, or learn about guidelines from other countries. Included in the treatment database are guidelines for adult, adolescent, and pediatric HIV treatment; and prevention of mother-to-child transmission. The HTS Guidance Database includes national guidelines on consent and confidentiality, testing algorithms and strategies, use of mandatory testing, self-testing, and quality assurance and quality improvement.

Dear Lauren,
Thank you very much for sharing such important material with us. I assume that it must have taken the people who developed this material quite some time to incorporate so much within in. National treatment guidelines from many countries, research and development and even HIV/AIDS treatment guideline in different countries in a variety of age groups. That's very useful material.
I am going to take some time to get familiar with it.
Thanks again,

Thank you so much for the kind feedback!

Mayena Kpinsaga, here is a link to some of our PMTCT resources, per your request https://aidsfree.usaid.gov/focus-areas/pmtct. We have included PMTCT in the Treatment Database whenever we could get those guidelines. This is a living resource, of course, so we welcome submissions of more updated guidelines.
