Condom Promotion for AIDS Prevention in the Developing World: Is it Working?

This article reviews evidence on the effectiveness of condoms for HIV prevention. The authors recommend enhancing condom promotion for high-risk groups, more rigorous evaluations of the impact of condom promotion efforts, and additional research on how to integrate condom promotion with other prevention strategies.
