New virtual learning program focused on how to implement skin-to-skin contact in a hospital setting begins April 29.

By Cindy Hutter | 18 Mar, 2014

NICHQ has taken its years of experience in helping hospitals improve maternity care practices to support breastfeeding and packaged the key strategies into a series of virtual learning programs for healthcare professionals. The first program, Mastering Skin-to-Skin, focuses specifically on how to overcome barriers to implementing skin-to-skin contact immediately after birth, a key component in the Ten Steps to Successful Breastfeeding.

Mastering Skin-to-Skin consists of three one-hour interactive, virtual coaching sessions with nationally-recognized experts. There will be action steps to be taken between each webinar and lessons learned will be featured in class for expert review and learning. An online classroom will facilitate ongoing conversations between participants and instructors to continue discussion beyond the class time.

Don't miss out on this opportunity. Registration closes April 28.
