Zika Innovation Hack-a-thon

By Amy Wachler | 18 Mar, 2016

Hi Everyone,

CAMTech and Global Disaster Response at Mass General Hospital's Global Health are calling on designers, engineers, clinicians and all innovators to help develop innovations that address the spread of the Zika virus and other vector-borne diseases. The Zika Innovation Hack-a-thon is taking place April 2-3 at MGH, and we need your knowledge and expertise for a 48-hour event to create new product concepts, design novel personal protective equipment and develop new methods for local vector control, all to help bend the curve of the Zika epidemic and similar outbreaks.

Applicants can apply here: bit.ly/HackZika and we are also looking for global health experts to serve as mentors over the weekend, so if you are interested in learning more, please contact me at ! We're eager to spread the word as much as possible about this very important event, so please share the attached flyer and event website with your colleagues, friends and global health influencers around the world.

Thanks so much and we hope to see you there!!

Hi Amy,
Thank you for this information. We truly need to roll our sleeves, and see how we can stop ZIKA.
