Gender in Medicine: Getting Both Sides of the Story

By Isabelle Celentano | 27 Feb, 2014

In preparation for next week's Charting the Course: A National Policy Summit on the Future of Women’s Health, The Brigham and Women's Hospital Health Blog recently posted this Ted Talk that I thought I would share. Dr. Paula Johnson, Executive Director of the Connors Center for Women’s Health and Gender Biology and Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, aims to bring attention to the need for gender equity in medical research and will be speaking at the Summit on March 3rd. More info on the Summit can be found here: http://www.brighamandwomens.org/Departments_and_Services/womenshealth/Connors...

If you are unable to attend the event in Boston on Monday, you can also tune into the Summit via webcast: http://new.livestream.com/BW-Womens-Health-Summit/events/2784694

I look forward to hearing others' thoughts!
