Addressing Behaviors that Undermine a Culture of Safety, Reliability and Accountability: Webinar

This opportunity seemed like a good option for anyone interested in learning more about the effect of company culture on quality & safety in organizations.

AHRQ is hosting a webinar on Wednesday, September 9 from 1 to 2 p.m. ET on the use of the agency's teamwork training program, TeamSTEPPS. The session will focus on the issue of and challenges associated with team members whose behaviors undermine a culture of safety.

The following key points will be discussed:

• Team members' lack of compliance that illustrate critical challenges with quality improvement interventions
• The consequences of failure while addressing undermining behaviors
• Strategies for addressing undermining behaviors
• The importance of teamwork in compliance and the sustainment of a culture of safety, reliability, and accountability

This should be excellent. I can't think of anyone better than Dr. Hickson to be discussing this topic. He has done amazing work here at Vanderbilt and across the US and beyond.
