Mr. Abdullahi M. Sheikh is a native of Somalia (East Africa). He earned Bachelor degree in English Literature in 1990 in Saudi Arabia; he also holds a diploma of Advanced Studies of Arabic linguistics from King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia. He earned a Master’s degree from University of Phoenix in Masters in Business Administration and currently working on doctoral program in Management in Organizational Leadership. Mr. Sheikh is currently a licensed Bridging The Gap (Medical Interpreter Training Course) trainer in North Carolina. As a founder of Cross Cultural Resources (CCR), a non for profit 501 (c) 3 organization that provides interpretation and translation services, interpreter Skill training, interpreter evaluation, cultural competence education and training, Mr. Sheikh maintains Organizational Management and provides strong vision and excellence in leadership to the entire organization. Since 2002 CCR has been a leading full service language corporation, serving the refugee and immigrant communities in North Carolina.
