Bob works with health centers, mental health centers, primary care associations and state organizations across the country in his capacity as vice president at Cherokee Health Systems in Knoxville, TN. He has over 20 years of experience working in the safety net provider system, and now helps train his safety net colleagues on the clinical, administrative, finanical and operational aspects of a behaviorally-enhanced patient centered medical home. Bob previously served as an administrator in the community mental health system as the director of a division that served people with chronic mental illness through day treatment, case management, psychosocial rehabilitation, housing and supported employment programs. He is a contributor to a text on health disparities in Appalachia set to be published in 2014. Bob lives in Valparaiso, Indiana with his two children.
