Motivated to work for social cause and with a firm belief that a medical person can earn her requirements with ethical modest practice I left city like Mumbai when I grew, and settled in draught prone rural area in Maharashtra with my anesthetist wife. I practiced for twenty years and catered all cases as I was the lone alternative in 60 km radius. I left the place after getting burn out.
Now I am a senior technical officer in an international organization working for reduction of HIV and am engaged with targeted population.
- A vast twenty years practical experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology (Ran my own hospital in rural Maharashtra, India) as well as in HIV.
- A very robust experience as a program person in an international organization like Pathfinder International for 4.5 years.
- An extra-ordinary ability as a communicator and trainer (I have 14 published books which include 6 novels, one textbook on social medicine, one text book on Midwife training, and small booklets on woman health)
