Bio

Interested in rapid detection, prevention and understanding of infectious diseases and their role in chronic and non-communicable diseases.

Currently an Assistant Professor at Purdue University designing minimally instrumented diagnostics for point-of care detection of infectious diseases. Previous postdoctoral training in POC diagnostics under Catherine Klapperich, Ph.D.

Previous postdoctoral work developing novel upper-room air ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI) systems for hospital use in low-resource settings to prevent tuberculosis and other airborne disease transmission (PI Ed Nardell, M.D.)
