Bio

I graduated from Harvard Medical School in 2009 and recently completed my psychiatry residency at the University of Colorado. As a psychiatry resident, I participated in health services research projects at the Centers for American Indian and Alaska Native Health and did extensive clinical work with refugee patients. I'm deeply committed to (mental) health disparities, culturally appropriate research, and increasing diversity in the workforce as a key to addressing both. During the 2013-2014 academic year, I will be working in Haiti with Partners in Health as a Pagenel Fellow.
