Bio

Tom Nicholson earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science with concentrations in Russian and Central Eurasian Studies at Indiana University-Bloomington, and his master's in International Development Policy at Duke University's Sanford School of Public Policy. At Partners In Health (PIH), Tom coordinated MDR-TB projects in the Russian Federation from 2006 through 2009. Tom served as the Project Director of a population health grant to Brigham and Women's Hospital and PIH from the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, implemented in eastern Rwanda. Tom is currently appointed as Associate in Research at the Duke Center for International Development, working on MDR-TB drug supply and care delivery innovations in collaboration with Harvard Medical School's Department of Global Health and Social Medicine.
