Thank you & stay tuned for some exciting changes...

By Eric Obscherning Moderator | 15 Jun, 2016

Dear YP-CDN community members,

First, thank you for being a member of the Young Professionals Chronic Disease Network (YP-CDN) on GHDonline. We are so inspired by all the things YP-CDN and GHDonline have accomplished together over the past few years in nearly 1,000 discussions led by more than 4,000 people from over 2,000 organizations and over 170 countries.

But, in order to build upon this shared success, we have agreed to make a few changes.

On June 27, 2016, this YP-CDN community on GHDonline will be archived. All of you current members will migrate to the Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) community, where a representative of YP-CDN will serve as a Moderator.

After June 27, new members will not be able to join this archived YP-CDN community, but past YP-CDN discussions and resources will remain available for searching, referencing, and sharing.

In addition to the merging of this YP-CDN community and the NCD community on GHDonline, the organization YP-CDN will launch a new website and its own online community platform powered by NationBuilder in July.

These changes represent a natural transition. They will help GHDonline strengthen and streamline their community organization while also positioning YP-CDN members to shape a conversation around NCDs coupled to more action.

You are instrumental to building a cohesive, diverse, and global community of young people to drive policy, research, and social change towards a healthy and equitable future. We look forward to seeing you in the NCD community on GHDonline and at the new www.ncdaction.org in July. You can make sure you are registered on the current site-- ncdaction.org-- now so you're already included in the loop).

Onward,

The YP-CDN & GHDonline Teams
