I am teaching a course at Brandeis University this semester on chronic disease in global health. It’s a great group of students, all graduating seniors in an interdisciplinary major called Health: Science, Society & Policy.
Each of the students in the course is required to conduct an interview with an expert in the field. Experts can be anyone including patients, clinicians, students, researchers, advocates, and so on. Most of the students have been pretty resourceful in locating interviewees on their own, but a few of them are a bit stuck—with the deadline fast approaching—so I thought I might reach out here to help them out.
I am writing to ask if anyone from the YP network might be willing to take time out of their busy schedules in the next week or two to share their experiences and perspectives on global NCD issues in an interview with one of my students. The interview would probably take around 45 minutes over Skype or phone or whatever is most convenient for you (or even in person if you are in the Boston area).
If this is something you might be open to, please contact me directly at .
Thank you so much for your consideration!
